Valencia – Spain review

[ENGLISH version scroll down below pictures]

Valencia,  a real jewel of the Spanish crown ,a dream city that  has almost everything a visitor can ask for and even more for an inhabitant . From the incredible night life, beautifully preserved historic center with many buildings in the UNESCO heritage but also a modern side built and bonus this stylish city  is only a couple of  hours away from the island of Ibiza. Worth checking out are the 13th century Gothic cathedral in the historic center, the modern tourist harbor that has been host to America’s Cup, next to it is arranged the Formula 1 circuit ; the city arts and culture, the creation of architect Santiago Calatrava (must see for all) and many other attractions which I’m sad  i didn’t have time to see. For a relatively small city (about 800,000 inhabitants) has a highly developed transport system, metro network does not stop with the city but stretches dozens of miles to neighboring villages, making them effective in suburban type neighborhoods. Unlike it’s  northern neighbor Catalonian Barcelona , people here do not focus with nationalism and racism issues and are far more friendly and willing to help but unfortunately there are many immigrants who come to make trouble in this little paradise, the highest percentage being ….. Romanians followed closely by Africans. However in Western Europe would be my opinion about the best city for  expats to live.
