Back to dear Romania

[ENGLISH version below]

[ENGLISH]

I finally got home,i can’t say i missed this country to much, because the atmosphere in West Africa was very similar to what you see here, at least it was warm there. My fellow  Romanians i first encountered at the gate of the plane, were easy to spot: feet lounging on chairs,  long  loud and pointless conversations. Altough the airline employees made it clear it was going to take about an hour before they start boarding , everybody qued up like they have some sort of sick pleasure of sitting in line. I rediscovered the second hand  planes which are sometimes used on routes to Bucharest, so i found my self  dying in pain because of the sudden change of pressure inside the plane, and only the next day my hearing started to come back.

In Bucharest I went for a walk in the center, although there were about -14 degrees, you could walk easily with a light jacket, there was no wind  and the sun was shinning …. I saw some desperate protesters at the university square .. pensioners of 89 revolution and party members, I went to their leader and I said they’re sad painful bunch of lads , and he gave a crappy political answer.

I wanted to come by train to Constanta, but the Romanian way of life again prevented me, an idiot parked in front the  garage exactly in the front of the NO PARKING sign, so i eventually took a taxi and  went to the city bus station. I came with a maxi taxi minibus type 310, that had a heater installed  but all the  windows were  frozen. Behind me was sitting a flousy pulling a Portughese fellow with her , to show him to her mother and friends . And in the same mini bus because of the  lack of luggage space the corridor between the seats was filled  with a large suitcase which became a climbing obstacle for the passengers in the back. I offered to put the suitcase on a chair so that people can pass but the driver turned and started to yell at me about making a dirty mess on the chair , so i found it was just easier to leave everybody alone.

As for the voyage it  was good, I got a crew of best guys , with whom we got a long very nice and the time passed quickly. We had a route between the North Sea  so I experienced exactly what i ran away the most from : heavy winter in the North Sea and pirates and gypsie-lands in the black continent. More details in the posts to come.

  1. Fun in Romania, nu?

Pune si tu o poza doua si transforma romanul in cateva paragrafe, adica pune niste spatiu intre sa fie mai usor de citit!

    Bine ai venit 😀
